ABOUT IMPERIAL
Imperial Earthquake Protection Systems is a part of KLA group.
With more than three decades of experience in repair, retrofitting, and mainstream civil construction, the founders of KLA saw a clear gap in how buildings in India are designed for safety. The goal was to upgrade construction practices so structures can withstand extreme events without relying on more concrete and more steel.
To minimize instantaneous and residual lateral drifts, and to ensure buildings remain usable almost immediately after an earthquake or severe storm, our parent company partnered with Quaketek Inc., Canada, in 2018. This collaboration allowed us to bring advanced seismic damping solutions to the industry.
Today, more than 24 world class buildings covering over 15 million square feet are designed and built using our solutions. These systems are not only cost effective but also maintenance free, proving their value across real projects.
As Indian codes continue to evolve, the demand for safer buildings grows stronger. Our damping technologies align perfectly with these needs and offer a practical path to reliable earthquake protection.
Imperial’s in-house design team works closely with structural engineers to develop efficient solutions that deliver high safety and faster construction. On site, our trained project engineers ensure each damping device is installed with precision, giving building owners full confidence in the system.
